Kendra Oliver

Kendra is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health and disease prevention, building relationships with each patient and making sure they feel valued. Before she joined the Opulent Dental team in Dec 2020, Kendra moved between Richmond and Charlottesville, VA for four years. Her professional journey began when she completed two years at Wytheville Community College, graduating in 2017 with an AAS. in Dental Hygiene. When she’s not working, Kendra can be found spending time with her husband and chocolate Labrador, making memories with her friends, and enjoying great food.

Keri Fowler

Keri graduated with her AAS in Dental Hygiene in May 2020 from Wytheville Community College. She has been with Opulent Dental since July 2023. Keri is very passionate about educating patients on the prevention of gum disease and cavities. She chose a career in dentistry because she loves helping people be more confident with their smile. In her free time, you'll find Keri spending time with her husband, son, and 2 dogs.

Rachel

Rachel's favorite part of being a dental hygienist is providing patients with the standard of care and the feeling of a great smile. Rachel loves getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships. Rachel has been in the dental field for over 8 years, starting out as a dental assistant and wanting to do more. She graduated from Virginia Western Community College with her A.A.S in Dental Hygiene, and started at Opulent Dental in 2022. When not at work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her fiancé, her dog Sadie, friends and family.

Alisha

Dental Assistant

Alisha is from Catawba, VA and moved to Blacksburg in 2016. Her 2 joys in life are her husband and daughter. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys her dogs, as well as gardening, crafts, and antique shopping. She graduated from the Dental Assisting program in 2017 and began her dental journey in 2018 at a Pediatric office for 5 years. Alisha has been with Opulent Dental since March of 2022. She loves that dentistry is a way to give people their smiles back. She is experienced in many arts of dentistry including endodontics, crowns, implants, and invisalign.

Makenna

Dental/Hygiene Assistant

I recently started in the dental field, after graduating from a dental assistant program, last fall. Before chair-side, I worked in many childcare settings, and absolutely adore working with children. I am hopeful to be a dental hygienist, in the near future, and continuing working in pediatrics. In my free time, I love cooking, spending time with my family, and exploring new places.

With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, primarily in orthodontics, I’m excited to grow and serve my community as part of the Opulent Dental team. My passion for pediatrics allows me to connect with young patients and their families, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.

I’ve been fortunate to raise to wonderful sons in the New River Valley. I now get to cherish the joy of spending time with my three granddaughters. In my free time, I love traveling, exploring new places, and nurturing my garden.

I am a graduate of Jefferson College of Health and Sciences. I have been working in the dental field since 2019. The patients experience is my top priority and I work hard to ensure they our comfortable at our office.

I am originally from the New River Valley, but spent most of my adult life, at the beach, where I am a sea turtle ambassador. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my four children, who I adore. I also enjoy hiking, gardening, and spending time in nature.

Madi is skilled in assisting with a variety of dental procedures, managing patient records, and providing education on oral hygiene practices. Her commitment to delivering top-notch care makes her an invaluable member of the team!

I have worked in Dental for 5 years as an Orthodontic Technician and now as a Dental Assistant. I love working with children and have dreamed of working in a great Pediatric office, since I graduated. Children bring the greatest joy to everyone and I think everyone needs to experience working with children!

My name is Kinlee. I worked in Orthodontics for over 2 years previously and wanted to have more hands on work with pediatrics. I'm working on being a dental hygienist in the future to continue my dental career. I enjoy spending time with friends and family as well as reading.
